Everything You Need to Buy for Fall, All in One Place
At least in New York City, we're currently experiencing the kind of weather that reminds me that getting dressed in the fall is fun—and suddenly, shopping for the upcoming season doesn't feel quite so daunting.
With my motivation levels at a high right now, I'm prepared to make your autumnal shopping experience even smoother by doing the grunt work of scrolling through literally thousands of products and picking out the ones that you—everyone!—should want for the season ahead. That means denim, basic tees and sweaters, handbags, accessories, outerwear, shoes, and more—all at your fingertips. And it's not all "essentials." If trends are what you're most excited to pick up for fall 2024, I've sprinkled those in too, including the selling-out handbag that Zoë Kravitz and Hailey Bieber are both smitten with. You're welcome.

If looking expensive is as much a goal for you this fall as it is for me, then you'll want to order this off-the-shoulder LBD ASAP before it sells out. You can wear it with boots, flats, or mules, for the day time or evening, and no matter what, it'll look luxe.
This bag is going off right now, specifically after both Zoë Kravitz and Hailey Bieber were spotted carrying it. The shape is sleek and elegant, while the print adds an air of playfulness—a perfect balance for autumn.
Tortoiseshell sunglasses, in my opinion, are even more essential than black ones. They're cool, sophisticated, and feel a little different than what everyone else has.
This slightly sheer top will make everything you pair with it look better, from jeans to slip skirts.
These just arrived, and already, they're starting to fly off the shelves. You know what to do.
This scarf isn't anything special on its own, but when styled correctly for fall, it can make your entire outfit. Wear it just like this—draped around your shoulders with a tank or slip dress.
A classic clutch is a must in any fall handbag collection, allowing for easy to day to night outfit transitions.
My coworker Anna LaPlaca put me onto this cardigan last fall but it sold out so quickly that I couldn't get my hands on one until this week, when it restocked. Trust me, it's perfect and will sell out again.
Capris are the perfect transitional weather staple, plus they're really chic and go with practically every top style.
Sleeveless button-downs like this one were big in the '90s but haven't gotten the air time they deserve in the last few decades. They're so chic, versatile, and easy.
Add these classic (and according to reviews, very comfy) ankle boots to finish off the ensemble.
I snagged one of the new Heaven Mayhem watches and haven't taken it off since. It goes with everything and looks way pricier than $280.
I'll probably buy five of these before the season officially kicks off.
Hear me out: I just tried these on in two colors and fell so in love with them immediately. They're the comfiest pants I've ever worn, look so sleek, and make you appear at least three inches taller.
For a more affordably priced alt, check out Beyond Yoga's anorak.
Trust me, adding a cuff like this one will make every autumn outfit appear stylized and intentional.
This is no ordinary tank top—it's thicker, more structured, and has a much more sophisticated neckline.
Bermuda shorts are perfect for these early fall months when it's still warm but you want to start playing around with autumnal outfits.
I'm in love with these shoes—period. They're so elegant and lady-like, and will look fantastic with tights, from fishnets to sheer options.
For a worth-it splurge, you can't go wrong with a piece of outerwear by Attersee. Elegant doesn't even begin to describe this piece of wearable art.
There's no such thing as having too much cashmere in the fall and winter months.
All of us WWW editors are freaking out over this new Ref bag. The shape, fabric, and size—it's an elite choice for fall in every way.
When you tell people these were $60, I bet you they'll be shocked.
A dress this gorgeous belongs in your wardrobe. Wear it to the ballet, a long bistro dinner, or a martini-filled girl's night out.
Just add jeans, a T-shirt, and maybe a red sweater around your shoulders. Done!
In my opinion, you really need one silver-toned watch and one gold one so that every outfit is covered. Since the gold style featured earlier in this story is more dainty, I suggest adding some contrast to your watch collection with a more masculine style like this Tsuyosa by Citizen, which just so happens to have a very on-trend burgundy dial.
Flore Flore makes arguably the best tees in the game—just ask Kendall Jenner.
This thin, hooded sweater is great for tying around your waist or shoulders to add a pop of color to any otherwise muted ensemble.
Wax barn coats started to rise in popularity last winter, but they'll hit their peak come fall.
It's true, I found your perfect 2025 work bag. Thank me later!
